Laura Beauparlant Founder of Lab Creative

I’m Laura Beauparlant – an entrepreneur, speaker, wife, mom, adventurer, and founder of Lab Creative.

For the past 20 years, I’ve helped entrepreneurs around the world transform how they show up – through brand strategy, bold storytelling, and visual design that reflects who they are and what they stand for.

Let me take you back to how I got here… because it’s an interesting story.

My journey starts where it almost ended. A car accident at 18 nearly cost me my life – and gave me a new lens on everything that matters. Years later, meeting the stranger who had kept me conscious that day sparked a pivotal shift. I realized it was time to stop playing small and step fully into the work I was meant to do.

So I walked away from a thriving design business and created Lab Creative: a place where strategy and creativity converge to build powerful, legacy-driven brands.

Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of founders gain clarity on their message, align their brand with who they are now, and step confidently into their next chapter—especially during or after a business exit.

My personal mission is simple: to live boldly and intentionally – and help others align their life, brand, and legacy with what matters most.

I’m also the author of Brand Chemistry, a practical, empowering guide to building a magnetic brand, and the host of the Legacy Branding Podcast, where I interview founders and thought leaders about life after exit, personal evolution, and the power of brand.

As a keynote speaker with 400+ talks and workshops delivered, I’ve been featured on stages and podcasts around the world, sharing insights on branding, entrepreneurship, and living boldly and intentionally.

Outside of work, I’m an adventurer at heart. I’ve explored 28 countries, lived in four, and spent 10 months living in Sicily with my husband and two boys – a chapter that deepened my belief in clarity, courage, and connection.

I’m a well-caffeinated graphic designer, hand letterer and travel enthusiast. I received my BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. My diverse cultural background and enthusiasm for travel have allowed me many opportunities to experience different trends all over the world and use them to influence and inspire my work. 

It all started when I was a kid. My dad was always an entrepreneur with a lot of crazy ideas for businesses, and I had this undying love for art and design. So every new business idea he had meant tons of fun design work for me. (Young-girl-drawing-type of design, but it did the job). I fell in love with the entire process: from brainstorming the first hint of an idea and concept to the process of making it come to life. 

I’ve been a part of the Lab Creative team for eight years and love the amazing clients we get to work with!

Marketing Operations & Client Support

I’m a digital marketing strategist with a passion for storytelling, connection, and elevating brands.

My curiosity about how brands influence emotions led me to pursue a Master’s in Brand Management at LCI Barcelona School of Design, and eventually a career in international marketing.

Over the past few years, I’ve helped businesses shape narratives that resonate across borders – developing strategies, optimizing customer journeys, and managing global campaigns. I love blending data with creativity to drive real impact.

At Lab Creative, I wear a few hats. From managing our podcast and social content, leading our marketing efforts, to keeping client projects running smoothly behind the scenes. I’m the thread that ties it all together and helps bring the brand magic to life.

I feel deeply aligned with the mission and energy here. Supporting our clients as they build bold, authentic brands that stand the test of time is truly an honour.
