Is there a type of business that’s best suited to work with you?
Though there are exceptions to every rule, Brand Camp and our visual design packages were created for service-based businesses. We focus on helping visionary founders who want to ‘get it right’ the first time or successful entrepreneurs, change makers, thought leaders and small business owners looking to reach new levels of impact, influence and success.
I just need a logo or website – can you help me with that?
We design beautiful and meaningful logos and websites here at Lab Creative – but only for clients who have been through our Brand Camp process. Why? Because a logo without a strong foundation is like a cake that’s all icing and sprinkles – no substance. Our approach is to help you bake the brand first and THEN make it look beautiful.
We provide the guidance and support you need to make the most of our work together and your beautiful new logo – and translated it into tangible results for your business through our strategy sessions and comprehensive branding roadmap.
Do I get a logo as part of Brand Camp?
No. Brand Camp takes you through all the (essential) work you need to do BEFORE creating a logo, to ensure your new visual identity hits the right notes, attracts the right people, and will help you grow your business.
If you’d like our help to create your new visual identity once you’ve completed Brand Camp (as a large percentage of Brand Camp graduates do!), we’d be thrilled to work with you.
What does the design process look like?
Our visual design packages are comprehensive and include a mood board, colour palette, a gorgeous logo, social media graphics, brand guidelines, and 2 strategy sessions. We also offer anything else you might need designed like a website, signage, presentations etc…
Once you purchase the design packages, we schedule your project (typically within 1-4 weeks). Your entire project will take approximately 10 weeks – so please do let us know if you have any vacations scheduled! Below is a graphic outlining the flow of how we work. We promise to keep you up-to-date on a weekly basis.
Do I have to hire you to create my logo afterwards?
Not necessarily. You can absolutely take the work you’ve done in Brand Camp to another designer and ask them to create a logo based on your brand foundation and essence. That said, make sure you choose one that will use your foundation to develop your visual identity.
Also, it’s not ALL about the logo. Brand Camp will change the way you feel, talk and approach your business – and pay off (in a big way) even if you don’t go forth and create a new visual identity right away.
How long does Brand Camp take?
There are 2 different versions of Brand Camp depending on your stage of business and budget.
Brand Camp: Self-GuIded. You’ll work at your own pace through our detailed workbook with access to Laura for support and guidance via a private WhatsApp chat (for 5 weeks). You’ll also received a two hour wrap up call at the of the 5 weeks.
Brand Camp: Individual Experience. The time commitment for this will depend on the size of your business or your unique needs. Please reach out and book a call with Laura to learn more.
What’s included in your design package? Will I have choices?
Here are the full details of what’s included in our branding package:
• Moodboard + Colour palette – 1 option, 2 revisions
• Logo Design – 3 options, 2 revisions
• Social Media Profile and Cover images (for all your platforms) – 2 option, 1 revisions
• Social Media Templates (created in Canva) – 6 designs, 1 revisions
• A comprehensive Brand Guidelines document including colours, fonts, key messaging and logo usage
• Brand Strategy sessions - 2 45 minute one-on-one sessions with Laura
• Branding Roadmap - a comprehensive guide to launching your new or revamped brand
…in other words, everything you could possibly need to present your business to the world confidently! Click here to see examples of some of our past design work. In addition to the design elements above, we can also support you by creating things like slide decks, lead magnets, postcards, business cards etc…
I’m also going to need a new website. Can you help me with that?
We certainly can. A custom-designed (Squarespace) website is available to our design clients.
Is there a refund policy?
