Founded by Dr. Sharla Aronson in 2011, Alive Dental (formerly Aronson Family Dental) has flourished over the years. With a renewed focus on biological dentistry and an eye toward future growth, Sharla recognized the need to rebrand the business to better align with her long-term vision.
By removing her surname from the practice's name, Sharla made it more adaptable for expansion and potential future transitions, such as bringing on new associates (as she recently did) or even selling the business. In an industry often characterized by generic logos, stock photography and clinical messaging, Sharla sought to differentiate Alive Dental.
Through our Brand Camp process, we honed in on key messaging that highlights the practice's patient-centric approach revolving around three core principles: Illuminate, Collaborate, and Revitalize. These principles now underpin the commitment to patients' well-being, allowing them to 'glow from within.'
The choice of the name 'Alive Dental' perfectly embodies Sharla's vision of fostering vitality in her patients. The logo, quite literally, brings this concept to life.
Once the foundational messaging and new name were established, our team began the visual rebranding process, covering all aspects from the logo and color palette to social media graphics, business cards, website design, and brand guidelines. The website's content was crafted with the assistance of ChatGPT, and we provided photography art direction.

I signed up for Brand Camp to get clarity on my brand and brand position. Although I had already been in business for 12 years, I no longer felt that the name appropriately reflected the niche we had gravitated toward. I was not able to articulate exactly what made us different, or even what made people choose us.
Brand Camp was an amazing way to workshop with others to hone our brand personality, essence and tagline…which helped us create a new brand name to reflect our work!
Designing a brand around the essence helped us create a congruent message from name and logo to colors and website content. The new brand has been so well received and I love that potential clients immediately get a feel for our work and what we stand for.
